Tincup Lodge


Tincup Lake nestles deep in the heart of the Ruby Mountain Range, close to the Saint Elias Mountains in an outstandingly scenic setting.

This friendly, family owned lodge operates to the very highest standards, catering for a maximum of ten guests. Traditional cabins are comfortably furnished, each with twin and double beds, bathroom with shower and toilet and a wood-burning stove. Chef Jose Nagy serves gourmet cuisine in the main lodge, where there is also a lounge area and honour bar. Outside is a sauna and hot tub, the ideal place to relax as the sun goes down.

Accommodation is Saturday to Saturday.

Activities

Angling, canoeing, walking (from riverside rambles to energetic mountain hikes), wildlife watching and photographic safaris.

Fishing

Dry fly fishing for grayling all summer, dry fly fishing for lake trout (June to mid July and late August into September).
Wet fly for grayling on sinktips, big streamer flies for lake trout and surface bucktails for pike. Large streamer flies for inconnu.

Tackle

Lightweight 4/5 fly rod for grayling, whitefish and small lake trout. 7/8 fly rod for bigger lake trout and inconnu. Medium to heavy spinning rod for big lake trout and inconnu when they are in deeper water.
